THE AVBOB FAMILY CIRCLE In South Africa, AVBOB is synonymous with funeral insurance and services and, as an iconic heritage brand, the first choice for most South Africans and the primary reason why we’re also synonymous with FAMILY . At AVBOB , family comes first. Always . That’s why our products and services are designed to meet South African families’ needs from cradle to grave. Our commitment to our members and stakeholders, the AVBOB family circle, is underlined by our brand promise ‘We’re here for you ® ’ , and by our dedication to make this promise a visible and tangible reality in the lives of our family circle. The second half of the 2020 financial year has been overshadowed by a worldwide pandemic not unlike the global tragedy that led to AVBOB ’s founding. The COVID-19 pandemic has, once again, seen AVBOB heed the call of South African families to be strong and supportive, to be there for them. And when we undertake to be there for our AVBOB family circle, we mean it, because we were there for those who came before, we’re here now, and we’re committed to always being there, no matter what the future may hold.
